Sister Rebecca is from the strictest of Catholic sects. For 23 years she had suffered from high blood pressure, then in 2009, she was diagnosed with a liver disease. By all means, she never wanted to identify with anyone outside of her sect. she was always true to her religion. Unfortunately for her, the sickness she carried knew no religion and sought to destroy her completely. In her late fifties, she had decided to go back and upgrade her studies at Kyambogo University, however this was often challenged by the illness. One of those afternoons, she decided to visit an old friend called Gabriel, a lecturer. As fate would have it, she found them talking about what the LORD was doing through a certain young Pastor. She listened carefully and decided, if others were getting healed so would she. There was one problem, she was totally catholic and more so a Nun. How would she explain that she broke the religious tradition and met a Born-Again Pastor for prayers instead of a Catholic Priest? While she deliberated in her heart, and came to a conclusion, “I will see this Pastor but in secret”. The next day she came over, and I would have never believed that she was a nun because she wore no religious garb. When she began to tell her story, I could tell she was Catholic. She mentioned how she excluded oil from her diet after the liver disease diagnosis. I asked her, “Do you believe Jesus will do this?” she answered, “Yes I believe”. I continued to say, “that means after I pray for you, you will be able to eat my fried rice and eggplant’.

She thought for a moment and then I added, “As a demonstration of your faith, I will need you to eat this food with oil as a confirmation that you have been healed.” She agreed.

I called upon the name of the LORD Jesus, He heard our prayer and instantly she felt a sharp pain leave her side. Her face lit up, she walked to the kitchen and ate as much as she could. To this day, Sister Rebecca is perfectly fine with a totally healed liver, normal blood pressure and has completed her studies.

We kept our secret of her healing to this day. I am sharing it with you because I am led by the Spirit to encourage you that you too can get healed. He wants to heal you today.
