With God all things are possible.

Matthew 19:26

In my years of ministry, the hardest thing I have had to deal with is the emotions after listening to what people are going through. Many times, after a session I would go back to my room and drop on my knees and weep my heart out, asking, “LORD, why do they have to go through this?”

One of those tough days happened in Moroto. After the sermon, I called for the healing line. Among the people that got up was Tekoa Regina, carrying a child in her arms with a complicated health issue. The doctors at the Heart institute in Mulago had examined the child and discovered three holes in her heart.

The holes in the heart affected the child’s growth. On that day, the child could barely sit, and couldn’t walk. In comparison to other kids of the same age, her walking was delayed. I looked at the helpless child and my heart wept because of the pain she was going through. Her mother in turn looked like she was carrying twice the burden. But this is what amazed me, when I asked her why she was in the line, she said, “I want Jesus to heal my child.”

The Spirit of God led me to speak a word into the child’s life and I said to her, “By this time next month, this baby will be walking and free of any heart condition.” I looked her straight in the eye and it was all the comfort she needed, whether she believed it or not was another thing. All she knew was that she had a date to hold on to which was only a month away.

When I was in Moroto two months later, Tekoa walked to me, you should have seen the smile on her face. This time she carried no baby because her little girl was walking on her own. I couldn’t even wait for her to say anything, I started, “You mean this is her!” she said yes. Here is the good news. When she went to Mulago, two holes had totally disappeared, they didn’t know what happened. To be certain it was true, she went to Mbale children’s Hospital to double check and the result was the same, the two holes had disappeared.

She was meant to go back that day to check for the final hole, but when she heard that we were gathering, she couldn’t wait to testify of what Jesus had done.

What is your case? Am asking what your current situation is! How high is your mountain? How deep is the valley? Only believe and see what the LORD will do.
