Dear Friend,
In my last letter, I shared with you the condition that the Holy Spirit gave me regarding returning to the LORD. Today I have even better news from Jesus; He wants you to be filled with the Holy Spirit today so that you can start to experience the fullness of God in a special way.
I know things have been hard lately, so does He. It wasn’t any different for the Apostles right after Jesus had ascended to Heaven. Before He left, He gave them an instruction saying, “ Do not leave Jerusalem but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:4 NIV
The Apostles were scared that Jesus was leaving them. He was their hope, supply and in Him they felt safe. They thought hard about their lives and the LORD knew He couldn’t leave them feeling hopeless like orphans. While they tried to hold on to Him, He knew they didn’t need Him, but someone else who was going to take His place, and continue His ministry.
He said to them, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.” John 16:7 in this days of uncertainty, the LORD knows your scared, worried for tomorrow and wondering what will happen next. Your heart weighs heavy and you are not sure what to expect. That is why He asked me to write to you this morning.
You need not feel alone and don’t be scared or worried. Don’t look at your children wondering what will they eat tomorrow or how will they go to school if things continue the way they are, there is hope. You are not in this alone and that’s why He sent you a Helper, the Holy Spirit to take the place of Jesus in your life. He did the same for the disciples and when the Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost, they were filled with power and they spoke boldly in tongues. Their lives changed forever.
If you have never received the Holy Spirit I want you to pray with me right now so that you receive the gift that the Father promised,
Dear Father, Please give me the Holy Spirit that you promised according to Your Word. LORD I believe that I have been filled with the Holy Spirit, thank you Father. In Jesus Name.
Now that you have been filled with the Holy Spirit, listen to His still small voice speaking deep within your heart and He will guide you through the mucky waters of COVID 19 and any situation you may find your self in right now. The Holy Spirit is the inward witness that God needs you to lean on to help you. When you feel alone and confused, ask Him to guide you. The Holy Spirit is a Person and I personally met Him and He has such beautiful feet with a resemblance of toques blue glass, absolutely pure. When you speak to Him remember to address Him as a Person but also as the LORD your God for the Holy Spirit is God, forming the third Person of the God Head.
Let Him be your friend, you can know Him deeply and intimately. Then you wont be afraid or anxious anymore because He will give you the assurance of the Love of God and of Jesus for where the Father is, the Son is and where the Son is the Spirit is. You are not alone.
