And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. Exodus 12:7
Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. Exodus 12:13
Come to think about it, there is actually power in the blood. When the LORD struck down the first born of Egypt, it was because of the blood of lambs that the house of Israel was spared. It wasn’t because they were more worthy.
For that blood to be able to save them, it had to be smeared on the door posts as the LORD had instructed. Had they failed to apply the blood as prescribed, they would have perished.
Today we have a better witness, a stronger testimony and that is the blood of our LORD JESUS. There is a plague out there, but it shall not come near your door if you will do the right thing, which is! PRAYERFULLLY APPLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS ON YOUR DOOR POSTS.
Do not be afraid, Jesus is watching over you and your entire household. No amount of caution is a substitute for the BLOOD of JESUS. Therefore, apply it now.
Prayer Path
Dear Father, I apply the blood of your Son JESUS upon each and every member of my family and upon our door steps and all we have. I believe we are safe under the blood and no evil shall befall us. In Jesus Name. Amen.
